Maghull to Liverpool
Our last walk from Maghull to Liverpool has been published.
We've done it! Every inch of the 127 mile towpath plus the branch lines (Leigh, Rufford and Springs at Skipton) so our journey was around 142 miles.
This website has been fun and will stay online for future posterity. Whether it gets updated again or not... I don't know. I could open the whole site up to allow comments? I will probably visit Liverpool again soon when the new extension opens. I could also publish detailed distances along the canal to aid future walkers.
It's been fun, thanks to the regular readers and those who have commented in the blog and by email. I've learned a lot.
